Sivam Metal was founded by Boopathi in 1999 and has been buying and selling scrap for over 25 years. We work from two branches in Tamil Nadu — Madurai and Coimbatore — collecting from both cities and their surrounding towns, and we coordinate larger jobs, tenders and bulk lots across India.

We buy from households, shops, offices, workshops and factories: ferrous and non-ferrous metal, paper and cardboard, plastic, e-waste, batteries, machinery and complete site clearances. Sorted material is sold on to mills, foundries, paper and plastic processors, and — for regulated categories like e-waste and batteries — to authorised recyclers.

How we price is the part we care most about. Material is sorted into its actual grades in front of you, weighed on a digital scale you can read, and paid by cash or UPI once you accept the amount. Our live rate board shows when each rate was last updated, and anything older than 48 hours is marked stale rather than passed off as current.

Scrap buying

Collection and purchase from homes, shops, offices, workshops and factories, with free pickup for eligible quantities.

Bulk scrap selling

Sorted, quality-checked bulk material supplied to manufacturers and dealers.

Site clearance and dismantling

Plant, machinery, warehouse and office clearances, with our own cutting, lifting and labour team.

Scheduled collection

Bins on site and pickups on a fixed cycle for businesses that generate scrap continuously.

Where we operate

Two branches, plus coordinated pickup and transport for larger jobs elsewhere.

Madurai branch

Covers Madurai city and nearby areas including Anna Nagar, K.K. Nagar, Thirunagar, Villapuram, Mattuthavani, Sellur.

Coimbatore branch

Covers Coimbatore city and nearby areas including Peelamedu, Singanallur, Ganapathy, Saibaba Colony, R.S. Puram, Gandhipuram.

For tenders, bulk industrial lots and company sales outside our two cities, tell us the tonnage and location and we will confirm whether we can take the job.

How we handle regulated material

Where the disposal route matters as much as the price.

Batteries

Collected whole and moved only through recyclers authorised under India's battery waste rules.

E-waste

Drives wiped or physically destroyed before disposal, with a written record, then routed to authorised recyclers.

Copper, cable and precious metal

We record seller identity and ask for proof of ownership — standard practice for the items most often stolen.
