- How long does a pickup take?
- A household collection is usually under an hour from arrival to payment. A workshop or office clearance takes a few hours, and industrial clearances run to a schedule agreed in the quote.
- Do I need to be there?
- Someone should be present to confirm the material and accept the final amount. For business collections that can be a nominated person rather than the owner.
- What if I disagree with the weight or the grade?
- Say so before payment. The scale reading is visible and the grades are separated in front of you specifically so any disagreement can be settled on the spot rather than afterwards.
- Can you collect from an upper floor or a basement?
- Yes. Tell us the floor and access route when booking so we bring enough hands and the right equipment.
- What happens to the material after collection?
- It is sorted and graded at our yard, then sold on to mills, foundries, paper and plastic processors, or authorised recyclers for regulated categories like e-waste and batteries.
