- Should I separate copper and brass from my iron scrap?
- Yes. Sold inside an iron pile, non-ferrous metal is paid at iron rates. Separating it before pickup is the single biggest gain on a mixed load.
- Do you need ID to sell copper or cable?
- Yes. For copper, cable, precious-metal scrap and vehicles we record seller identity and ask for proof of ownership — standard practice for the items most often stolen.
